I am a Clinical Psychologist and Body-Psychotherapist in private practice in Kailua, Hawaii. When working with clients I am interested in how the body participates in someone's psychology...in how someone thinks and feels, how he or she is in relationships, what their difficulties and strengths are. As well as listening and talking with clients about their goals or problems, I look for ways to work through the body to help people live the life they want. I work at both body and psychological levels with core concepts of pulsation, grounding and centering, boundaries and containment, contact with other people and with the deeper self. I am a trainer with The Radix Institute, which trains people in Body Psychotherapy, or Somatic Psychotherapy. The Radix Institute offers a modular training program to people who are in the mental health or other helping professions, to enable them to work with their clients from a body-oriented profession. Radix has it's roots in the work of Wilhelm Reich, and is current with recent developments in neuroscience, attachment theory and developmental models.Melissa Lindsay – Co-apresentando com Narelle McKenzie

Meredith Sands Keator was raised in a family lineage of healing originating through her Finnish heritage, and she is the Director of their Somatic Stretch® training program. Trained in Shiatsu and Acupuncture in the early 90’s, Meredith teaches accelerated healing skills to Somatic therapists of all modalities to increase treatment results through more direct access to the nervous system. A pioneer in the field of Eastern and Western integrative sciences, she has developed Neural Resonance Therapy®, a therapeutic approach to gain greater access to neural frequency for accelerated healing results. Her research in this field since 1996 has unearthed an understanding of geometric precision in the body that appears to mirror the information we are currently witnessing in the universe on a fractal and holographic level. She teaches classes and workshops, and has been an avid reader and researcher in the Somatic field. Wilhelm Reich has been a foundational influence in her work since the 1980’s as she pursues a strong collective within the healing arts to raise awareness around the integration of alternative and allopathic practices.Meredith Sands Keator – Leste, Oeste e Reich: Somatics no século XXI

Mais sobre nossa Política COVID-19

At this time, we are resuming in-person activities at the Wilhelm Reich Museum with some caution. An uptick in Covid-19 cases is currently burdening healthcare resources in Maine. Healthcare services in Rangeley are particularly limited. We are requiring masks to reduce possible spreading of virus, and vaccination because it is known to reduce the severity and duration of illness. We feel it necessary to take these steps to safeguard the health of conference attendees and our staff. To those who do not wish to comply with our policy, we offer participation online.
